Hmm I was thinking: Its possible that the 19lb/hr could get to be a problem... here the item to consider is that you stated 300hp, and 19's *will* get to that point but not support a constant output of 300 hp... you did not say if you wanted your average hp to be 300 or just the brief peak when you are stomping on it & max revs.

However assuming that you want about 300 peak hp - safe guess, right? The 19's would only be good if they are WORKING PROPERLY. heck same goes for 24's 36's ect. The point is that if you are going to stress it or get close to the limit make sure you they are clean and working properly.

Either way you should get a new fuel pump and filter AND adj fuel reg. if you dont have these already. I would like to recommend for you

1)fix the heads mill them or what have you
2)get 1.7:1 rocker arms comp cams magnum or any full rollerized
3)get head gaskets. Pay attention to the compressed thickness and bore size. Lots of folk simply get 4.100 when they only need 4.030 or even 4.000.
4)new walbro 190 lph fuel pump
5)motorcraft inline fuel filter
6)MM billet adjustible fuel regualtor (its a beauty!)
7)REMOVE all injectors and have them properly cleaned

some of that is pretty basic and does not involve aftermarket computers or kludgy MAF introducing drivibility problems. After above steps completed, you could evaluate the rest of the fuel system and electronics. Further fuel upgrades need to be analized to really get what you want. You could just throw a big tin can MAF and toss some injectors in there, you could get a complete programmable aftermarket computer system like FAST, you could get the ford 24lb/hr complete '93 cobra system. I have an OEM on my 92 notchback and its street manners and upkeep are totally stock. This means that I do nothing and it works just fine idling when stone cold or in 114 temps :-P

Well, im not sure if I will mill the heads now, since i know that the grove around the chamber is for a loc wire head gasket, so I might just skip milling them and getting a set of those head gaskets for it. Then maybe a few years down the road ill super charge it so those gaskets will be perfect for what I plan on doing with the car.
