Default 347 HEATING UP

I just tore the top half of my 347 being it was getting hot pretty fast and at
the end of my first pass on the track it smoked from what appeared to be the
exhuaust. It doesn't hold coolant properly being I knew the head gasket was probably
blown due to the way it idled and how fast the motor began heating up. I broke
my tranny and the car hit the revlimit while I was on the spray and the tranny never worked
again. The car always started right up and I pulled it and put it in the notch I have
now behind a built up C4. It didn't idle quite right but I am thinking the heads are warped
being that I took them off and the gaskets looked fine. I did see water and oil mixed beneath the lower intake manifold..I'm taking the heads to get looked at tomorrow and I will let you know how it goes. I am thinking this is the only thing that could be wrong being my car
doesnt' leak anywhere and it doesn't run bad just not as good as it can...If the block or something bad was cracked then I would know right and it would leak correct???

you need to make sure there are no problems in the cooling system such as water pump and radiator deficiencies
