It's not a mystical vehicle dumbass. It's just a plain old Ford with the power being cut to it's power supply. No power, no run. Simple.

As for inside vs outside. The car companies have done BOTH successfully. There are so many pros and cons vs each set up. Pick your poison and go with it.

If EITHER one make you uncomfortable. Go with my set up. The power wire is just a small 6 or 8 gauge wire protected by a 12 ga fuseable link. No danger there.

The only wire that needs to be big is anything to the starter. Mine is 2 gauge and it's not live unless my clutch pedal is in the carpet and my key is on the start position.
