i have an 89 coupe. freakin love the notch, its sex on wheels. lighter, forged, tilt wheel
get suspension and gears...you'll be a happy camper.
I guess that's another advantage to the older cars without the air bag, tilt wheel. I've been trying to find a column that will work for my car w/ the air bag set-up that's tilt but to no avail yet. I don't really like where the wheel sits on the air bag cars...

Well... it's safer, and looks better IMO, never liked the old style wheel.. and you get the updated interior. Safety in a Fox personally is my number 1 priority, first thing I did to my car, before even touching the engine, was upgrade the brakes. Gotta be able to stop if you wanna go.
Im trying to figure out which fox bodied mustang i should get stock if i do not buy one modded already.....I just want to kno which year for tha 5.0 came out with tha most power n best overall car to work on?
thank u n any additional info would be appreciated...
Get a 5 speed mass air notch. Stock for stock, they will be faster than hatches, GTs, or verts due to their lighter weight. They are structurally stronger as well. I would recommend 88-92 as they will have the factory mass air and the forged pistons. All Fox 5.0's are blessed with ease of maintenance. I love my heavier GT but I would ****** up a clean notch in a heartbeat if presented with the chance to do so for the reasons I've listed.
