I have a '90 LX 5spd and was wondering what it would take to get the car into the solid 13s. To make it interesting, I'd rather not use a supercharger or nitrous. Can it be done with the stock heads? I figure on total exhaust, a gear change, and maybe an intake. Any suggestions? Thanks.

6. removes spare jack,any other unneed to race
7. synth. oil
8. 73-76 mass
9. pull bushing out of shifter
10. add 5 psi to front tire or 41 psi total
11. cold air
12. ice on intake before run
13. 2.5" exhaust or just unkork the headers

this got me a 13.81 on a hot day with cooler air and I have a 65mm t/b a 13.55 would be in the ball park

Mid 13s would make me happy. I figure that would put me a good bit ahead of most of those pesky imports out there. Most are slow, but some are starting to get fast.

scrap the factory heads..save up and throw some afrs on her... with what vfast already advised, you would be a low 13 sec.
