Default Cylinder Head Temp/Motor Temp Question?

I'm not having any overheating problems my motor stays around 190-200. But the motor puts alot of heat out, you can feel it in the cab, feels like the heat is on. The engine bay holds alot of heat for hours it seems. Is there something I can do to reduce this heat? I'm sick of sweating tryin to drive it on a hot day. And I want to make sure everything is how it should be, the cylinders are soooooo hot.

Thanks,
Steve

your probably heating up from the exhaust under the car.

Insulation under the carpet and heat shields between the floor pan and exhaust are your only options really

more than likely the headers are putting off the most heat. when i switch from stock style headers to ceramic coated ones it seemed that i felt less radiating heat out of the engine bay. i also have alluminum rad which disapates tons of heat too created by hot coolant. you can always wrap your headers in header rap which will more direct the heat further down the exhaust below your car and reduce your under hood temps.

No A/C, sweating like a pig in heat on a hot day...haha...

For the shifter, should there be more then just the boot on the actual shifter?

*****, try driving around in 100+ degree TX heat without any sound deadening or carpet in the car. THAT will make you sweat.... especially when I was in uniform with the boots and pants on lol.

Yea about twice a year we hit 90, and as stated its the heat thats entering the cab thats killing it, feels like the heats on from all the engine bay heat....
