Default Sputters after warming up

When I first start the car in the morning everything runs good. But here in az after it gets hot the car likes to sputter at higher rpm's like its missing. I've also noticed that if I shut it off for a couple minutes after its warmed up to go into the store or something when i try to start it again it has trouble cranking like the battery is dead or something. But i dont think its the battery cause even after its been sitting in the garage for a couple days if fires right up. it only seems to act up when the cars hot though. Any ideas??

Check the battery cables. I had a ground cable go bad and caused it to drag when hot, years ago. Changed over to a later model small starter off of a Mark VII. Much better.
As for the hot running issue, sounds like your fuel pump might be weak or the filter is partially clogged.

you still need to have the battery tested under engine heat can cause heat soak and cause internal resistance to increase in such things as the battery, cables and starter itself.....as for spudder issue, check for vaccum leaks and make sure you've had a good tune up recently
