Cleaning an intake manifold

How to clean inside a mustang intake manifold (works well on valve covers too)
Hey guys I'm new to this site but I've been driving mustangs in one form or another since, oh, 1989 or 90. I'm no stranger to forums tho, so I'll just say WHADDAP to everybody and move on to the point of my post. Brevity is wit, so they say.
Here are some pics I want you all to take a gander at. Take into account, the car these came off of has roughly 130,000 miles on an origional engine, and has sat for the last 5 or 6 years undriven, unstarted, and...snif...neglected.
Tell me watcha think. If anyone wants to know how I did it, just let me know and I'll tell you all the secret. Oh and before anyone asks, no, I did not cover a ferret in gas and let him run around in there.
Thats how I clean my underwear drawer.

Pay particular attention to the intake manifold and valve cover pics.
Oh yeah, here's the upside. Both of them in fact. 1: It's completely non-toxic. 2: It's dirt cheap.
