not trying to start a fight but have you ever owned a DD that has a sc that screams at idle? its cool for a month or two but then it becomes horribly annoying.

Tickets get expensive after awhile.

Id agree though, I can listen to a BOV or spooling all day but a SC whine gets to me pretty fast.

And this is why I love my V2 SQ. In the car I almost never hear at all, people at lights don't seem to notice it either.
It's one thing to have a loud blower if you are running something like a YSI, make 25 psi and run 9's. But a V1 putting out a measly 6 psi in a car that probably only runs mid to 12's is lame IMO. Sounding fast and running slow just aint cool.

I have a V1-sc and with it pullied up it is pretty loud. It does make it harder to hear things going on in the motor.
