Default stupid clutch cable ?

do you have to have an adjustable clutch cable to run a aftermarket quadrant.

Why would u bother running an aftermarket quadrant without an adjustable clutch cable? The quadrant is the only part that's a pain in the ***, putting in a new cable is the easy part.

there not built as nice as OEM cables.. ive been thru my fair share of adjustbles ones.. back on an OEM one and it is much smoother

well i was just wondering cause my friend gave me a new quadrant and my cable is still good,and i didnt want to have to buy a cable if i dint have too.

Is your quadrant bad or something? I just don't get the point of just replacing the quadrant. You should be able to use the stock cable with the aftermarket quadrant though.
