supercharged 5.0

As listed i have 17x9 cobra R's , when i tried to bolt- em up they rim is touching the strut. I do have the 4 banger brakes n spindles. I'm just wondering if that the problem or do you need to use a spacer ? If so i will just step up to v-8 brakes n spindles. Any info. will be appreciated . Thanks

I have them on my 90 5.0 GT, and there is no clearance problems. The 4 cylinder spindles must be different from the 5.0.

The spindles shouldn't be an issue with it. What are the specs on the wheels??? Backspacing and such....
