Default Another Elect Waterpump question

I did a quick search and didnt find the answers I need so i figured I would ask. With the small crank pulley I am running it is slowing down the water flow too much with my belt driven pump. I have done a A/C delete but still have power steering. Can I run an electric waterpump like a mezier or proform ect and still keep the power steering? If so do i need a different belt or different routing?
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Car doesnt overheat, but it doesnt like to sit in traffic either. I dont drive it much, but if there is a big event at the track and I drive it, It starts getting hot while im in line waiting to get in the track. or if i drive it ocasionally and get stuck in traffic

thanks guys!

Is the powersteering in stock location like w/ac or moved up in non ac applications. If it is moved up I think that you could run the belt from crank over alt. under tensioner over power steering down to crank.I do not have a car in front of me,just from memory.

man, thats a good question. I have 2 cars, one is a 91 notch with a/c in place and the other in a 89hatch (the one i posted about) . I remember noticing that the 2 cars have the power steering in pumps in different places. i will have to look when I get home. i just dont remember, and I am driving the 09 maxima today

Factory no A/C cars have their power steering pump where the factory A/C unit is in those cars.

You need an electric fan for your car if you have an electric pump.

I doubt your crank pulley is small enough to cause the water to pump through too slowly.

already have dual electric fans and a becool radiator. Car hasnt over heated, but if i am behind big trucks on the highway the temp gets up there. If i am in alot of stop and go traffic the temp gets real high. open roads are fine and it gets a little hot at idle but not real crazy.

the crank pulley is about the size of my fist, its the smallest crank pulley i have ever seen.... Waterpump is the only thing that hasnt been improved on the car....

it has got to be the pulley. the alternator only charges at 12-12.5 volts too
