What reason do you need more fuel? The stock tanks are plenty big enough. If you are race oriented you probably want a smaller tank, anyway.

Unfortunatly, your choices are pretty limited. There are a couple of companies that make an aftermarket tank. The problem is the spare tire well. The tank has that odd shape to make room for the spare tire. If you flatten out the trunk floor, then you can extend the tank upward to fill in that space. Otherwise, the only place to go is down. You may not want to lose ground clearance.

The Fuel Safe cell 110A is listed as a 22 gallon cell. Unfortunatly, it's filled with foam, a ballder, collector, and collector valves. I can only get 18 gallons in mine.

There's another version of the Fuel Safe, SA110C. 20 gal. It's plastic, and not alum. It has a bladder and foam. Not sure about the collector. It's a bit cheaper at about $1,300. But I would suspect that it doesn't really hold 20 gal. Not sure it's worth it for just 2-3 gallons.

You do runs out of town? Just stop at the gas station along the way. Extra gas is extra weight...
