Need help with dieing then no start
I've got a 1993 LX 5.0 5 speed convertible. I started to go for a ride this morning and it died on me before I got out of the neighborhood. With the KOEO the fuel pump continuously runs instead of stopping after pressurizing the system. I just replaced the TFI module because my parts store said it was bad after testing it. I also went ahead and replaced the cap and rotor just to be safe. Is my computer bad? what would make the fuel pump still run after pressurizing? bad distributor? I'm totally confused here. My coil is fiting, I tested it by pulling the wire and twisting the distributor back and forth with the key on.

maybe the gauge. mine shows 44 but when I put a tester on it with a bleed it is at 39.5 psi. Without bleeding the tester of air it was around 50 psi.
I don't know about the pump running all the time while KOEO is running
Have you checked it for weak spark at the wires?
didn't know they made those without being a feature car in 93...paint looks good

1) Coil firing doesn't mean it's coming out of the distributor, need to check at the plugs. TFI? Maybe I'm dumb. But the Ignition control module that mounts on the outside of the distributor controls firing also.
2) If you have fire and fuel and it won't run... I'd bet something is wrong with the computer especially since the fuel pump keeps running.
