Default 93 5.0 BOGGING DOWN AT FULL THROTTLE

hello., everyone, Just put my 93,5.0 auto, vert on the road. It has 70,000 miles, I have replaced the plugs, and cap/rotor. It starts well, and idles fine. Here is the problem, upon accelleration, if you push the pedal down too far she starts to bog down, and RPMs fall off..... ease up on the pedal, away she goes again, as long as you accelerate slow it will go faster then you need to go, BUT punch it , she bogs BIG TIME..Any advise whould be appreciated!! Thanks fellows, Bob

Might be a long shot, but is the exhaust clogged. Happens a lot to weed eaters and what not. Does about the same thing to them.

I agree with vfast. check all filters.

Also make sure your fuel pump is not going out. My grand prix does that. I gas it and it works fine, but I gun it and it bogs. But only when it is cold.

Just check fuel and air...and everything assosiated with them.

I just had this problem and 2 days ago fixed it.Changed wires, plugs, air filter, fuel filter,tps.ANYYWWAAYSSS... It was the fuel pump!! EXACT SAME problem as your having.
When I took out my old fuel pump the fuel pump filter had a bunch of dirt in it and the screen at the bottom of the fuel pump was all clogged with a lot of dirt and barely any fuel could flow through.I might have been able to just clean it and put it back in(not sure) but mine as well replace it like since have it all open. It's a good time to get an upgraded fuel pump.

Does your car rev to redline in Nuetral or park? im talking punch it to the floor.FULL THROTTLE.
If not then same problem as me.if yours does rev still might be same problem just mine was worse condition.
How I found out it was fuel pump was my brother squezzed the return fuel line and then it reved up all the way.So I knew it was my fuel pump not pumping enough.

I m having same problem here.
I bought a 95 gt that was sitting for 2 years.
Did a tune up on it (plugs, wires, cap/rotor, fuel filter).

Passs 4000rpm it revs very difficult and it restrict POWER>
I tried putting some fuel injector cleaner the other day at half tank. It made it run GREAT. Now , it's back to the way it used to

I'm debating either a bad fuel pump or injectors. The fuel pump doesn't make noise.

Also , I get about 260miles out of a full tank of 91 OCTANE . Is that normal???

1995 gt with intake +exhaust .
