compression vs crank issue?

Default compression vs crank issue?

Probably a simple answer. Will I have isues crankin 10:1 compression on oem starter for the '89.?

you shouldn't but if you do get a 92-95 high torque mini= prob solved , already done it to mine...works great, I had issues on heat soak, although the mini does experience some reduced cranking from heat soak too, it is still ample to easily start the car

I depends more on your actual cylinder pressure than your static compression ratio but the answer is probably when it is heat soaked.

if he gets his h-pipe ceramic coated, would that cut down on the heat soak?

^doubtful, maybe in the short run but any extended driving it wont matter.

thanks mike and adam, i'll guess ill just have to play around with it. first start up i estimate may be less than a week ordering custom pushrods today
