Default Suspension help for a '94 GT convertible w/ 18's

I replaced my stock wheels/tires with replica 18" Saleens and 265/35/18 Nitto 555 tires last year.. I love them, but the wheel gap on my car is downright atrocious.

I have a stock suspension setup, so it's time to gut it and replace it with something that will fix the horrible wheel gap.

Any suggestions? I'm looking at replacing my suspension and getting my car painted around March.

I'm attaching a picture so you can see just how desparate the situation is.

You will probably want to go with eibach sport-lines or h&r supper sports springs and then your choice of shocks/struts like adjustable strange struts are nice and affordable or a set of tokico blue is what im running. You will also need new caster camber plates with that low of a drop. If you plan on long tubes you might not want to go lower than a 1.5-1.75in drop depending on the condition of the streets where you live otherwise a nice 2in drop will look nice.

?

If/when I decide to work on performance, I'll probably just go with GT40P parts and the GT40P-specific headers to match. Roads around here are OK, so I'm not completely against a big(ger) drop, so long as it doesn't introduce any other problems with ride quality.

Thanks for the advice.

Looks pretty nice.

I almost wish I had gone with 17's, just because the wheel gap wouldn't be so bad right now.

I finally pulled my car into the street to measure the wheel gap..

There's a gap of over 4" in the rear and around 3" in the front.

I'm thinking a 2" drop all around may be necessary..

Ok, so I have my cash in hand and I'd really like to get something ironed out on shocks/struts/springs/CC plates ASAP..

The H&R SS springs look pretty nice..should I go with the Strange shocks/struts, or is there something better for the money?

I'm almost at the point of just buying a set of Bilstein BTS-7504 (I can get them for $680 shipped--springs, shocks, and struts) and being done with it..I just really don't know.. I just know this wheel gap is driving me absolutely crazy.

Strange coil overs from Team Z, you can get it all from them.
If the sell CC plates get it from them, if not Maxim Motorsports.
