Obnoxious Vacuum hose

Obnoxious Vacuum hose
All right, my first post here, I'll start off with something that should be pretty straight forward for you intelligent gents.
I have a 94 Mustang GT 89,000 miles. 5.0
Earlier today I was looking over things and found a cracked vacuum hose. Took it off got a replacement for it. Now I can't find where the dang thing goes in the back of the engine. I can't see back there and I can't seem to feel where it connects when I reach back there. I can't seem to get the pics up right now but it looks like the original line is wrapped in a little yellow tape and it connects near the transmission dipstick. It proceeds to go up to another connector then to the back of the engine somewhere under the intake.
Any help would be great thanks.
