Default Ford Racing blue silicone hoses

My car came with a set of Ford Racing silicone hoses when I bought it and they have worked fine. I recently put in a flex-a-lite radiator and ever since then they have been leaking around the radiator nipples.

How long do those hoses last? I just wonder if they are shot. Ive got the clamps pretty tight (I broke the top one when I tightened it down using a 1/4" ratchet).

If the hoses are still good what can I do to keep them from leaking. Im running coolant though it like crazy (running Honda coolant in it since I get it for free).

Do you know anywhere I could get just the blue radiator hoses? Everywhere ive seen sells them in a kit for the whole system.

I also though about some chrome hoses/tubes form mac. Any cons against them?

Ford Racing Blue silicon Radiator hose are fine (but they seem to only come in a kit and not separately),there is nothing wrong with the MAC blue/red silicon hose that I've heard of.
I didn't want to run into your problem so I went with all black hoses.. radiator and MAC.
