Cold air and throttle body

Cold air and throttle body
Just a quick question I'm sure can be answered quickly. At the moment my GT is speed density but I would like to convert it to mass air at some point. Could I buy a cold air set up with the hole for the mass air just so I don't have to buy another one later down the road. I mean as long as it's not hooked up and everything else is still in it's place it really shouldn't make a difference should it. Also could I get a 70mm throttle body and not worry about up grading the injectors or is a 70mm to big. Also what is the stock throttle body size. (just wanted that reference for the heck of it)
Thanks again for any and all input.

Also, you do not need to upgrade your injectors if you upgrade your throttle body. And the stock throttle body is 60mm (non HO motors are 55mm, and a 93 Cobra motor is 65mm I believe)

We'll if your going to SC your car than swapping over to MAF is a good decision. Besides that, MAF is easier and you can get alot more in depth w/ tunes, etc but don't let anyone tell you that you can't modify a SD car (normal bolt ons, etc.). I've done it and seen it done plenty of times.

Oh no...I know you can. It's just a royal pain in the behind sometimes. SD doesn't really limit your power gains a whole if at all. But getting parts for a MAFed car is alot easier. But I still would rather have a carbed Stang. Power gains are SO much easier and tuning is almost never ending and I'm more savy with a carb anyway. All in due time I'm feeling an 85 GT sometime down the road (after this one is payed for)
