rear end housing bushings, spherical or poly?
My rear end housing bushings are cracked and worn on the car in my signature (novi 1000, cam, ported heads, intake, fuel system, full drag suspension/drivetrain, etc.) This is a weekend warrior that I drive 90% on the street 10% on the track. Most of the time it is pulled out of the garage is to drive it to work or to race someone. Seeing as how this is driven mostly on the street which are more practical? I'm unsure of the pro's and con's of the spherical bushings over the polyurethanes. Are the sphericals really worth $50 over the polys? I'm looking at the upr sphericals or the prothane polys.

Spherical are going to locate things more positively, and don't "wear out" or deflect like a plastic/rubber bushing will, but they cost more and can result in a stiffer ride. Poly locates stuff pretty well, but not as well as spherical.

Well if they're going to wear out less quickly than a poly bushing and they're better for racing I don't mind spending the extra coin. I'd rather have quality especially with the 408 that's getting dropped in.
