Does anybody know about how much it would cost to get the stock E7s ported? and is it even worth it or should i just get a pair of aluminums? and if i should go new any recommendations?

porting the stock heads will be worthless. if you are on a budget go with a set of gt40p's and port them a little. If there is no real budget go with AFR's or Trickflow twisted wedge heads.

some will tell you it can be done, i say it's not worth it.

look for iron gt40's or a used set of aluminum heads, most all are good but sure some are better. but if you get some cheaper ones like edelbrock 1.9/1.6 and save a few hundred over some AFR's or something else spend that money on port work
ALWAYS get soem port work done... never go box stock

at least port the exhaust and match the intake to them, smooth the intake runners a bit and a comp valve job

not too expensive and can almost double your gain

if you get iron heads that were production ('93 cobra or lightning heads) have the thermactor bump ground off too

Ok thanks guys... i see a lot of people talking about the gt40 heads what kind of gains can i expect with the new heads and intake combo?
