What oil after break in?

Well i need to change the oil in my new motor soon to get the assembly lube and break in oil out, what is a good oil to go with? I dont have the money to go with royal purple or anything, just need something good for the time being. Also are oil filters for 302 blocks all the same? I was told the block is from a 89' but im not sure which filter to get...

I run valvoline 20-50 racing oil it has zinc in it like oil was before the year 2000 when the epa removed it. and motorcraft filter just dont use a Fram filter.
