if you go the fmu route, you can

If you got to spend money on a maf, injectors, fuel pump, chip and tune, then probably not unless you find some used parts.

I bought my Vortech used from Corral.net for $1950 shipped. It was in excellent condition. I recently saw a used Powerdyne for $1200 and a used Vortech for $1800. You can find some good deals there.

one of the best, if not the best place to get used mustang parts. huge selection!

to sc for $2600 your going to need to go the fmu/btm route as well as get the sc used. go with vortech, stay away from powerdyne. the fmu will take the place getting a new maf and injectors and the msd btm box will pull timing under boost so you wont technically need a tune. i had a buddy run his 95 cobra at 9psi for years with no tune just a btm and fmu for tuning. if you dont get both, you will need a new maf, larger injectors and a custom tune. the tune alone will set you back $600 and used injectors and maf will be $400ish.

If you know what you're doing & buy a used s/c you could do it for under $900
