Default TPS Sensor Help

I know that .98v is what the voltage on the green wire of the TPS sensor should read and I've set it plenty of times in the past. However, when I checked it recently it was reading .30v. I've tried to adjust it with the key forward, but I can only get it to read between .32-.28 or so. I can figure out exactly what I'm doing wrong. I would appreciate any help with this problem.

Don't ask me why I put TPI, I meant TPS. Anyways the wires and connections look ok besides the hole has gotten bigger where I've been pushing the pin through. I guess my question would be. Should I go ahead and replace the TPS sensor if that could be a possible cause? Thanks for the quick response

Mine wouldn't go over .76, I wallowed the hole out a bit to rotate it more and that seemed to work. It wouldn't be a bad idea to replace it though.
