as i was pulling out my old stock injectors i noticed all of them have a orange plastic cover on the bottom tip. although 1 of these covers isnt on the injector. im not sure if it wasnt there or if it fell inside the hole...could that be harmful to the motor if it did? plz help

Does the metal underneath where the pintle cap used to be look like it has been off for a while? or is it nice and shiny? Only way to really tell is to get in there with a borescope unless you can shine a flash light down in the hole and see if it is in there.
