Default Car Problems 351W Help!!

Yet another problem

When I get on my car and take it to high RPMS (don't know how high because I got a 4cyl tach) but my car will just cut off and I will have try to start it back and it takes a few times which makes me think its getting a lack of fuel or something? but I don't know anyone got any ideas

its a 351w w/ a holley blue fuel pump mounted outside the tank

first off get a tach that actually reads how high you are bringing it. its not safe to run the engine out that high and no knowing where you are. i would also run it on a dyno with an air/fuel ratio reading which will let you know if you are running lean or not in the top end. this will also let you know where you are making peak hp so you dont over rev. what carb are you running on this engine?

Yeah I plan on getting a tach but I just got the car

I also read the the inline pump is supposed to be gravity fed and that holley blues aren't really made for daily drivers they are more for drag cars

I have a holley 750CFM carb

i have a holley red in line with no problems the blue should be the same way. with a 750 carb you should def not be running out of fuel at the top end unless you have a very hot engine. i still suggest getting a new tach and going for a couple dyno runs that would clear a lot up for you

How do you have your inline set up?
Is the stock fuel pump supposed to be removed or kept?

Does anyone think my problem could be because they person who installed my inline fuel pump has the pump pulling and pushing the gas, As I read it should be gravity fed and they have it mounted above the tank which is clearly not gravity fed, The pump is loud as fxck but yesterday when it cut off on me I did notice it was quite

Holley Blues will always be loud....no getting past that, you need to get a fuel pressure gauge and a tach. Then watch your fuel pressure as you get on it,it could be the way its setup on your tank. There are a couple guys on here that run a stock tank with a carb setup with no issues.

I got a fuel pressure gauge but its mounted in the engine bay it stays at 4.5 psi at idle i'll have to rev it up and watch my fuel pressure
