I don't know if you've done any other work recently that required r&r of your exhaust setup, but look esp close to the header collector flange that meets up with the h/x pipe on each side. if you over-impacted that joint during a job, the entire flange can get pancaked out and make for a nasty odor in cabin. happened to me, wound up replacing headers and hpipe

who doesn't like uncatted exhaust? if you don't go buy a prius and get 40 mpg. you own a mustang, fix your exhaust leak and embrace in non epa controlled exhaust!!!

lol.. I dont mind losing a few brain cells everytime i drive it but people at my job and house are complaining that i smell toxic lol

there is nothing wrong with smelling toxic...at least i thought it smelt good, pick of a sweatshirt and find it smells like my car lol

It's going to smell funky for the first couple of days after a new exhaust install. They coat it with this greasy oily **** that will make a sweet smell until it all gets burned off like projectresto said. Cover up your tail pipes with a rag inbetween your hands and the end of the tailpipes (i suggest you do this immediately after you start the car) and listen for leaks.

DUMPS ARE FOR CHUMPS! Unless you're car is in the higherarchy of 12's-low13's, you're ridin' around killing yourself with exhaust fumes for no reason. Stop it....

Dont think id be able to deal with dumps.. I can just imagine sitting at a long stop light on a hot california day and just getting choked with the fumes lol.
