5 lug swap
i am doing a 5 lug swap the front is coming from my 01 v6 mustang(spindle rotors calipers and MC) i was planning on swapping the MC too will i have to do the 3-2 port conversion if i am keeping drums in the back. i am getting the axles from a ranger as well as the drums. i am also ordering the ss brake lines from maximum motorsports. Will i need anything else?

You don't have to swap master cylinders to do a a 5 lug keeping the drums in the rear. You also don't have to do the port conversion unless you are going with rotors in the back. With the fronts you need the adapter for the brake lines and some washers to take up the extra height of the ball joints.

If you get the maximum motorsports front SS flex lines they are already tailored to fit fox bodies with sn95 hardware. In other words, they are already set up to screw into the stock hard lines without a problem.
The only variance is the fluid bolt itself. Ford used two different fluid bolt thread pitch/sizes and this depends ONLY on the caliper you have. Same make and model cars may have different thread sizes.
I'll check when i go home what size washer you need. I think it is .30" thickness. Make sure its hardened.
Without a conversion kit or different prop valve, your master cylinder will not work.

i am going to convert to rear disc next summer so i thought swapping the MC from my V6 while i am doing everything else would just be easier. since at the moment i wont be using rear disc can i just simply bolt in the newer MC or no? and i am just going to press in sn95 lower ball joints.
