Default 5.0 wagon??!

as all you know, mustangs dont have monster back seats and when yo throw in a couple friends and my wheelchair, it gets crowded quick in my 01 gt. my answer to this was to buy a big body car or a station wagon like my aunt had when i was a kid. this would be used as a friend, sporting equipment and among other things, hualer. by the way, its hard for me to get in a truck, reason for considering car. my question is, would a factory 5.0 wagon have enough power to get around and not feel under powered? and would a 5.0 last in a heavy wagon? heres a pic of something im lookin at

Harry & The Hendersons mobile. Nice.

Yah, the 5.0 motor is pretty much unstoppable with proper maintenance. Regular oil changes and a tuneup every couple years, never have to touch it. They're torque monsters in stock form, so acceleration won't be a problem.

A 302 would have plenty of power for a wagon. I had an 89 full size Bronco with a 302, and it pulled that big heavy truck ok, I also hauled a 19' trailer too.

my neighbor is doing an 80's ford zypher. if you dont know what it is, its a wagon version of the ford fairmont, and the fairmont is the "original" fox body per say. 302 would deff move that wagon

While working at Ford dealership lady came in with a Mercury Cougar station wagon 1980 model. What ? They made them. Country Squire has lots of room to haul accesories.

Yea! I spent years looking for one of them, then I came across the one I have now.I put it all together in about 6 months from a running 6 cylinder to what it is now.
