Really wish this one had a couple replies lmao. Personally my 94 GT isn't very good at up shifting, not sure how normal it is but first gear will get well up past 5k if I really floor it from a stop. Other than that second, third, and fourth seem relatively normal compared to the other cars that I've driven, but sometimes the car seems a little too quick to get out of overdrive. The shifts kinda all seem very hard.

Shift points will vary with throttle input and load on the car. There is no good single answer for a question like this. The only constant would be if floored on level ground.

Its also important to note that the ECU controls the AOD-E in the 94-95 models. If it isnt shifting correctly, there may be an issue with the MLPS (manual lever position sensor) This sensor tells the ECU what gear the transmission is in,so if its sending incorrect info to the ECU,the transmission may shift at too high of a value, too low of a value or it'll shift to the next higher gear, free rev for a second or two then drop back down to the previous gear.So if any of these symptoms are present, start researching forums & threads related to the 94-95 5.0 MLPS,to id if it's really the cause. Its located on the driver side of the transmission underneath the transmission pan.
