Good Fuses, NO dash lights
Just picked up my 2nd stang it's an 88 with 85mph speedo.
All fuses are good and i got no dash, hvac, no lights at all pitch black darkness inside my stang at night. Headlights work.
Is there a relay or something simple before i rip it apart? Thanks

Check your headlight switch as well, both are wired inline. There are a lot of cases where the connector going into the headlight switch will melt due ford running too small of wire, especially in fog light cars.

Newdimmer switch. It workd in the parts car..I watched it and adjusted it. I took it out myself brought it home for 3 dollars put it in and nothing!
Fuses are good dimmer switch is good
Horn doesnt work. Trunk popper doesnt work. Everything else works.
Im going to chase wires down, what could it be?!?!
Headlight switch works fine fog lights work and everything. No flicker
What could it be?

I was referring to the wire coming out of the headlight switch for the illumination for the gauges. I believe it comes out of the headlight switch & goes down to the dimmer switch. Not sure on the color though, I think it's blue/red stripe. It's been quite a while though.
If you have a voltmeter, I would just take the gauges out & check for 12v at the illumination lamps & trace it from there.

Eagle 1956 here , my 95 did the same thing ,I replaced the light switch which turned out be cracked and burnt .also get the plug with the pigtails already installed because if yours looks like mine did when you take it apart some of the wires are fried together.i still have some light problems but that took care of the dash.

Im having the same issue with my 1990 fox so I guess I will have to dust off the old multi meter but if there is any other ideas I am open to them. Head lights, turn signals, and driving lights work dome light turns on when the swtich is turned all the way to the right and the insturment panel is off, just to clarify my issue
