Default tps question?

SO... my car broke down and i had one of my friends come by and run the codes because i was at a loss of what was wrong. turned out to be the TPS, but since i live in the land of no autoparts, i grabbed one off of my broken down 351W EFI bronco... it worked but now i have a c.e.l on constantly.
I looked up the parts number for the both vehicles and they don't match (not surprised) but like i said, it is working. Is it worth buying the mustang specific one?

I haven't dialed it in yet, so it works but the throttle response is slightly off.

Any input is appreciated.

The one that's on you car (origionally) will have one of these two part numbers on it.

OE: E6AF-CA, DA
OE: E8ZF-AA

If you can tell me what one it is,I can get you a price on a new one. They did have two different part numbers for that year.

i ill try and find out, i did not do the repair nor did i suggest pulling it off another vehicle,

Any particular reason why there is 2?
the only difference between 89 models i can think of is the speedo which seems irrelevant.
