Is it possible to replace timing chain without removing gears?

No.
the belt, crank pulley, water pump, bypass hoses, front oil pan bolts, timing cover, cam gear and crank gear must all be removed

Replace the chain and both gears.

I have a nice double roller kit for that application.
Here's a link to that and also a new water pump if that has high mileage on it too.
