Default 302 Cam selection?

I'v got a 302 out of a 1979 ford truck in my 1979 mustang, it originally was a six cylinder. I'v put a set of stock rebuilt E7 heads and an aluminum intake and a holly 750 double pumper on it so far. Im lookin around at cams and dont really know what would be best for this car, mind it has the stock c4 behind it and the 7.5 rearend but those are subject to change in the near future. Also wondering at what point i will have PTV issues? Any help or sugestions would be very much appriciated

Thanks
David

I'd go with a TFS-1 cam. It's cheap and has a nice powerband.

no you wouldn't , not in a 79 flat tappet block, with stock e7 heads I'd probably stick a edelbrock performer cam which I believe was .442/.472 lift?? and fyi ptv is not a result of valve lift but more so valve timing, no one can answer that question specifically, you have to check with any cam install

I ran that cam in my 85 when it had an auto tranny, and had stock ported heads and just your typical bolt ons, ran a best of 13.4 @100 mph at the time it was still a flat tappet block

What about the summit brand cams? Anyone had any experience with them? I dont have alot of money to spend on one so iv been lookin at cheap ones. The sum-3600 seemed to be comprable to the one MJR46 suggested?
