Default I don't know what the problem is now. Help!!!

1994 GT 5.0 144,000 miles. Automatic
smog pump line was split, took smog pump out, plugged all hoses that used to be attached to the pump. At the same time I put in a cold air intake. Now it will not get above 3,500 rpm. idle is perfect. Also I cut the cats out one was in pieces inside and plugged. (that didn't help)

Is the filter now in the fender(cold air)? If it is they make cold air mass air flow meter get one.

I think I found my problem, or part of it any way.
were my smog pump line was leaking, next to the head. the hot air looks to have melted the connector. for what i think is some kind of vacume valve. it has two vacume lines that t off one goes into fire wall other goes under the intake manifold. i took pics will post when i figure out how to.

The part is the Charcoal Canister/Solenoid it's part # E4ZF-9C915-AA.
could this be causing the motor not be able to rev above 3500 rpm without misfiring.
