Default gas tanks

started thinking about designing a sump setup for my carb fuel system, then realized that i have the stock tank with broken baffle from my 89 laying in my trailer. will it fit in the 86? i'm assuming yes but just making sure.

yah. i looked at that before, then did some more reading. i'm not 100% on either choice, but i just went out and looked in my old tank, and there's no way i'm going to be able to get that baffle out of there, so... i'll probably end up using that pickup tube.
