Default can you tell a headgasket is blown by the spark plug?

is there a way to be able to distinguish if a gasket is blown on a particular side?? Or you just pretty much have to take it off and see?

Head gaskets can blow many ways.

Cylinder to cylinder, water to cylinder, cylinder to oil, water to outside, oil to outside.

Some are just basic diagnoising. Some require experience to recognize.

Oil on plugs is usually valve seals or rings.

More likely the vavle seals worn than bent valve.
