Bad tail light question

Sorry for the bad question. I have chrome tail lights right now. I wanted to get some LX tail lights, I was wondering if I just needed lenses or the whole assembly? And also I have an automatic 5.0 which gear ratio would be the best to go with? I was going to go with 4.10s.

save yourself a hour of labor and buy the whole assembly. makes selling the old ones easier.
