Default Replacing crankshaft and bearings

Yeah so I got this 88lx that had a slight knock to it turnd it upside down an seen sum copper/worn main bearings and instead of getn my crank mic-d i just bought a new crank that included main an rod bearings so I am pretty confident that i can take the old one out and put this new one in but do i need to know torque specs for the connecting rods? if so does anyone know what they r? 88 v8 lx 5.0 and im trying not to pull the heads off while i do all of this which shouldnt be too hard right? thanks for the input this forum's so useful

lol i usually just but a 3/8 drive rachet on them and turn till you cant turn no more lol my ways has always worked for me lol but on my 408 i used all torque specs if you need specs on anything else let us know

I would just say to keep an eye on the rod journals as you take them apart and make sure they are all fine, if so go from there is find anything off about them pull the heads and have the rod journals mic-d so that they don't ruin your new crank.
