i have a 86 efi stang....for the last week my low fuel light stays on (located in front of gear shift on the little car map diagram). i filled it up and went off for about 1 day then went back to showing low fuel with 3/4 gas in tank. im not sure if the tank floater is broke or not cuz my gas gauge still works fine. ty for the help.

I know when I still had a console, mine came on at like a little less than a 1/4 tank! But I'm not sure how they work.

mine comes on also at just under 1/4, I believe its in a different system from the floater but Im not sure
