Default Stock fan
I heard that the fan on my 5.0 is not supposed to always be on? Like when its cold. Mine is always on even when I first start it up? Does this mean the clutch fan is ****ed?

its always going to spin. it will spin faster as the car heats up. if you hear it blatently loud at first start up in the morning, kind of like a bellowing roar, then ya, its probably time to replace.

they often are loud at first start up but after a min or 2 it should disengauge, if it doesn't, time for a new one

That's how mine was. Cold start, it would be tight then loosen up after about 30 seconds at around 2000rpm.

stock fan isnt worth replacing. if it goes, time to swap over to electric
