No start, kills power
My car has been sitting for about a week, I went to start it today and I heard the crack of the solenoid, but it wouldn't go. Then I noticed that none of my electronics were working. I check the battery and it's at 12.6 volts. I get back in the car and crank again, the electronics work again, but still no start. I have a mini starter that I put in last year, maybe it went out? Any ideas?

Everything is nice and tight. I measured the voltage from the positive terminal on the starter to the neg on the battery and voltage was 12.6. Measured from pos terminal on the starter to the engine block, also ~12.6. Voltage across the main solenoid (next to battery) was about 4v and when I put the key to on it was about 7v. Then, all of a sudden my dome light turned on and I had power again. This time the voltage was 12.6v across the solenoid and about 0v when the door was closed (dome light off). I then was able to start the car. So, it seems my solenoid is acting weird, do you think that is what it is?

+1 batteries go dead if they sit discharged. Also check the battery terminals for corrosion and make sure the terminals are tight, and the connections on the driver side frame are clean. Always double check the basics did you try a jumper box? or jumping it?
