DomeLight wiring

I have a 90 Gt and i want to wire some floor lights to the circuit the domelight is on. Where does the wire run from the domelight to? Does it run along the drivers pillar?

pretty sure it goes straight to the windshield, then banks a left towards the drivers pillar. i could be wrong though.
