hey guys how do i check fuel pressure and check my vacuum? where do i hook up the gauge to?

fuel pressure hooks to the schrader valve on the fuel rail, vacuum gauge you hook up to any suitable line, i usually use the brake booster.

on the rail there is a schredor valve hook into it with a gauge, as for vaccum, hook onto the vaccum tree on the firewall with a gauge to measure

ok, do i check it at idle?

pull the vacuum hose off the the fuel pressure regulator at idle and plug the hose while checking it.

so i can check it at either the fp valve or the schrader valve? and whats the schrader valve look like? so i can only check it at idle right?

no no

you hook the gauge up to the schrader valve (looks like a tire valve stem) on the chrome hard fuel line on the passenger side of the car. and dis connect the vacuum line that goes to the fuel pressure regulator and plug the line. this will give you max fuel pressure. and yes you check it at idle with the vac line off the fpr it will show the the max fuel pressure which is what it would be at WOT
