My guess is if you weld it you will have to put it together on the car, line everthing up, mark it up your welds then take it off again. Clamp your h pipe, that what I did works fine. Its an easy job, undo old rusty bolts remove, then replace with new stuff.

its pretty self explanitory.and if you do weld the h pipe together, weld it once you have it fitted to the car.

should be pretty simple, but sometimes those old rusty bolts are on there pretty good. u may have to spray em. just make sure you take out ur o2 sensors 1st n get them out of the way. line it up good on both sides connecting to the headers when u reinstall. sometimes lubing the hanger holes is a good idea to get it to go in all the way. other than that just remember to tighten the sides evenly.

and u can just clamp ur new h-pipe together, will work fine.

Like 9165pt0 said just clamp your h-pipe in the middle.thats how mine is and it works fine, its also easier to take it off later if you have to.

Headers should be easy spray the bolts with WD-40, and let them sit overnight. wake up and start working, H-pipe wont be a problem either but weld it after you have fitted it to the car. With the H-pipe i found it best to have 2-3 people under the car to help support its weight and keep it steady while bolting, however if yours came in pieces it shouldn't be a problem. Headers will be an easier install then on a 4.6.

It's a pretty straight foward job, just take your time. I did full exhaust, headers,x-pipe,mufflers,cat-back on my 93GT, in the garage, on jack stands. Took about 3-4hrs.
Like already posted, spray all the bolts with penetrating oil the night b4 (I used PB Blaster worked great!). Remove o2 sensors, unbolt old H,remove, reverse process for new H.
