if they have pressed in studs, the heads will need to have machine work done to them and have screw in studs installed after they are prepped for such

from what ive heard, the D00E heads are pretty much the best stock iron heads to get for fords.
as for the studs, you need to take them to a machine shop that has experience going from press in to screw in style studs. i think a little bit needs to be taken off of the face where they go in, but i might be wrong.

nah the gt40 are better as they are already setup for unleaded gas and pretty much the same head, iirc the gt40s flow slightly better....

but for stock SBF heads the 351C 4v out flow them all

well, if youre going to go for 351C 4V heads, you might as well look for some C9ZE-A or D0ZE-A heads (69-70 BOSS 302).

anyways, back in reality land:
the D0OE heads have a 64cc chamber whereas the GT40's have a smaller one (61-58cc depending on the application iirc). not that matters too much but something to think about. personally, unless you want to build a mean sleeper i wouldnt bother with iron, i just like aluminum so much better.

although i loved the looks on the F body guys faces when they'd get beat and then see iron heads on top of my sled
lolz...

:
set up right , I'd take c90e or dooe heads over gt-40's any day for their smaller combustion chamber that allows for more compression
