Ok so I took my car out finally after doing the cobra upper and lower new trans fuel pressure regulator.
Filled the tank and I only got 61 mile till empty.
Dose anyone know what's going on here I am completely lost and wouldn't even know where to start.
Please help. This car is driving me mad thanks

how does it run, and how did you drive it? are you sure the odometer was turning? i need a little more info on how the car runs... you said it has a new trans... is the speedo gear correct?

i get 350ish a tank on the road 250-260 in town somethings up

ok black89 the trans was a rebuilt with 15,000 on it and a hurst short throw.
i pushed in the speedo all the way and did a double check on her and she was all good... If it helps any the car is an 87 and it is speed density. throw all u have at me to check. Cause 61 to the tank is pretty BAD!!!!!!

You must have a fuel leak somewhere if the car runs good. With you only getting 61 miles to the tank I would think you could see the fuel gauge drop rapidly.

ok, well if you are only getting 61 miles to the tank then you have a problem with fuel. i would think you would be able to smell gas because its either leaking or running extremely rich... you dont have a check engine light on?

Well I would first fill the tank again and see if it does it again. Pull your plugs and see what they look like. Did you change anything else?

Maybe you were flogging it because of the new go-fast parts?! lol

ok problem solved so far.. my buddie and i searched the car and had come to find out that the vaccum hose to the map senor was all fu**ed up changed that and the car ran 10 times better
