Anyone ever put a late 5.0 dash in late 80's 5.0
I have an 87 mustang and have a outstanding dash skin from a 93. Can it be done. I was able to mount the dash just fine with my guages but the lower fuse panel cover portion is different. I would like some opinions before I venture further. I was told that the steering shaft cover is different but can I use a 93 one to match my 93 dash? Thanks in advanced.

I have a 91 dash in my car fits just fine not problem and the airbag wheel and all but I switched back to the 87 column so that I would have the tilt wheel. and I like the lighter style wheel that and the air bag idea kinda bothers me knowing that it was put in by some half wit and I was worried that it might deploy by accident.

just find a year and stick with all the same coincides don't mix up bits and pieces and make sure that you are using matched harnesses for the acc that you will be runing or you will run into problems been there when i put the 87 efi infron of a 91 dash harness all things arn't the same couple of burnt up wires and a new dash harness later the car runs great.....

well the 87 convertible that i got it out of was a tilt that is why I took it I just moded the 91 bezel to fit over it till I find the right one and its a tilt wheel column and all factory plugs and mounting

i got an all black dash from a 92 mustang and i was able to put it in with no problems, i just kept my steering column cover from my old dash setup and painted it black and it went right on. as long as the dash is from an 87-93 foxbody mustang it is more or less interchangeable in any 87-93 mustang.
