This same thing happened to me awhile ago. I got the starter rebuilt and then it was okay.

You replaced the parts already that should have fixed it. My thoughts go back to the ignition switch, which you also replaced. Since the ignition switch is new, look for burnt or damaged wires on that terminal that plugs into the ignition switch. Give it a very good old fashion visual inspection and my educated guess is a wiring intermittent short, not to ground since nothing is blowing. I mean a short between adjacent wires. Good luck, and hope you can get it working.

If you charge the battery up really well.... why are you charging the battery?? Be sure that the little wire and the big wire on the starter are not making contact and arcing to each other.

How have the teeth on the last 3 starters you replaced look? Are they chewed up? How does the ring gear look? More wear on one side of teh tooth vs the other?

It sounds like the starters bendix gear is getting hung up on the ring gear from being installed at an improper angle. Are you using any shims on your start to align it.
